Vision
Bring the real taste of Saurashtra back to every home—pure, honest foods made the traditional way, with respect for land, animals, and people.

Mission
Handcraft everyday staples like A2 Bilona Ghee and Desi Gud in small batches from ethically cared Gir cows and local sugarcane; keep processes transparent, chemical-free, and sustainable; support gaushalas and village livelihoods while delivering uncompromised purity.

Our Story
We didn't start House of Sorath as a business - we started it as a calling.
Growing up in the heartlands of Saurashtra, I woke up to the scent of cow dung cakes on chulhas, the rhythmic sound of wooden bilona churning ghee, and the warm sweetness of fresh gud melting in rotis. These weren't just ingredients - they were the heartbeat of our homes, rituals, and health.
Over the years, as life sped up and everything turned "refined," we saw these treasures slowly disappear from our kitchens.
House of Sorath was born out of a simple desire - to bring back the real, the raw, and the rooted.
We started with what mattered most to us: A2 Bilona Ghee made from purebred Gir cows. Not mass-produced. Not factory-processed. But hand-churned using the ancient bilona method, in small batches, in the same way our dadi and nani once made it - from curd, not cream. From cows who graze freely, not forcefully. From gaushalas that revere, not exploit.
And now, we've added another chapter to this story - Desi Gud Powder (Jaggery). Made from local sugarcane, sun-dried and slow-boiled in iron kadhais, without chemicals or whitening agents. It's earthy, rich, and every spoonful tells you - this is how sweetness was meant to be.
We're not here to sell just superfoods, we're here to bring the essence of soil of Saurashtra to your kitchen. To remind you that nourishment doesn't come from labs - it comes from land, labor, and love.
From the bullock cart wheel in our logo to the mud-toned packaging, everything in House of Sorath carries the scent of the past and the promise of purity.
So when you scoop our ghee or sprinkle our jaggery, know this - you're not just eating food. You're tasting a legacy.
